Equipment

  • Air Fryer

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb whole baby potatoes
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cleanly scrub the potatoes under running cold water, then drain and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  • In a medium bowl mix the potatoes and the olive oil alongside the spices.
  • Shake the basket of the air fryer after adding the seasoned baby potatoes to ensure that they are arranged in a single layer.
  • Shaking the basket halfway through, air fried the tiny potatoes for 12–15 minutes at 200°C/400°F, until fork tender and crispy on the outside.
  • Serve the potatoes right away after removing them from the air fryer basket. Enjoy!

NOTES

  • The Air Fryer doesn't need to be preheated, but if you have the time, doing so will make the potatoes crispier.
  • The additional starch can be removed from starchy potatoes by soaking them in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes before roasting.
  • The potatoes must be completely dry before roasting; else, they will steam.
  • To flip the potatoes halfway through, use tongs or a turner; shaking the basket can break parts of the potatoes and result in partial flipping.
