My name is Imsen, and i am the author, recipe developer, and photographer behind Ambitious Foodie. Welcome to my virtual kitchen! If you're wondering what's for dinner, you've come to the right place.

A little bit of my background. I'm a biologist who graduated in 2013 with a passion for science and discovery. My husband, is also a biologist, but he's the tech genius behind our blog—making sure everything runs smoothly while I focus on sharing valuable content. Together, we blend science and technology to bring you insightful and engaging posts.

Here you'll find everything Mediterranean recipes and cuisine inspired by seasonal ingredients, especially Mediterranean influences.

Whether it's a simple Spaghetti Seasoning, a Mozzarella Shrimp Pasta, 15 Minute Garlic Parmesan Sauce, or this super creamy Chicken Mozzarella Pasta, My main goal is to make it as easy as possible for an average home cook to enjoy.

Since 2014, I've been sharing simple recipes on different previous blogs and Pinterest boards. What began as a fun hobby has evolved into a great community of home cooks and a collection of tasty and simple recipes that I am thrilled to have created.

After a few years of writing, while working at a fantastic job, I left my job in 2019 to operate the blog full-time.
