In a food processor, combine the ingredients and a few pinches of salt and pepper.
Process till creamy and smooth.
Add salt and pepper to taste, then serve with your preferred Taco Bell chicken quesadillas or cheese quesadillas!
NOTES
Don't worry if you don't have a food processor! The food processor just chops the jalapeño finely and blends all the ingredients into a smooth sauce. Another option is to chop the pickled jalapeños yourself and combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl.
To ensure that everything is well mixed, scrape down the sides of the food processor as necessary. To ensure that everything is thoroughly combined, pause the food processor a couple of times and scrape down the sides.
Make your own version of Taco Bell's quesadilla sauce to use as a dip, spread, or side dish. For a quick lunch, I like to make this sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator so I can use it as a delicious spread on a flatbread with spinach and crispy panko chicken. It also tastes great as a dipping sauce for air fryer tater tots or crispy baked fries, or over a juicy air-fried burger. For a simple taco salad, you could even use it as a tasty salad dressing with my ground beef taco meat and crispy tortilla strips.
Feel free to prepare this sauce up to a week ahead of time and allow the flavors to meld in the refrigerator; it simply becomes better with time.
