INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds sausage
  • 1 pound baby potatoes quartered
  • 2 cups green beans fresh optional
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Fill the slow cooker's bottom with olive oil.
  • Add the potatoes and season with pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and sea salt. Toss to coat
  • Add butter and slices of smoked sausage. Cover and simmer until potatoes are fork-tender, 3 to 4 hours on high or 6 to 8 hours on low.
  • If cooking on high, add fresh green beans over the potatoes; if cooking on low, add them two to three hours before serving.

NOTES

  • If you'd like, you can use one pound of potatoes and one pound of sausage, or two pounds of potatoes and sausage.
  • About half an hour before serving, add the canned green beans.
