This Garlic Parmesan Sauce is super creamy and delicious sauce for your pasta and your pizzas. It's a modified version from the one at Buffalo Wild Wings, with fresh garlic, butter and the parmesan cheese. And the best part, it only takes 15 minutes to make!
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the Italian seasonings and garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
Add the flour and whisk until a paste forms.
Add the broth gradually while whisking continuously to ensure it is smooth and well-blended.
Bring to a moderate simmer over medium heat, and it will thicken.
Combine the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Whisk and heat until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add salt and pepper to taste and adjust to your preference.
Savour it as a dipping sauce, on top of pizza, or over pasta.
NOTES
To Thicken: Simmer the sauce slowly until the required consistency is achieved if it is too thin. Don't boil.
To Thin: Use milk, chicken broth, or cream to thin out the sauce if it's too thick.
To make this sauce completely dairy-free, replace the heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream or milk, the butter with vegan butter, and the cheese with dairy-free parmesan.
