INGREDIENTS

  • 2 skinless  boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat, and lightly coat with butter for nonstick and flavor.
  • Use a generous amount of Italian seasoning and black pepper, and cover both sides of the chicken breast with it as evenly as possible.
  • Roast the chicken on the hot griddle a couple minutes per side, flipping once, until golden crusty and an internal temperature of 165° F.
  • Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing, to allow the juices time to redistribute for maximum tenderness.

NOTES

  • Season to taste — You can add garlic powder, smoked paprika, or chili flakes for extra spice.
  • Let the chicken rest — After cooking, letting it sit for a few minutes will allow it to keep its juices and stay tender.
