INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Chipotle Peppers in adobo sauce
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix Up the Ingredients – In a food processor, mix up the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper.
  • Process Until Smooth – Blend until the sauce is creamy with everything mixed in, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides to ensure an even texture.
  • Adjust & Serve – Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. For a slightly thinner consistency, stir in a splash of water or extra lime juice. Use right away or refrigerate for future use.

NOTES

  • Adjust Spice Level — You can increase or decrease the number of chipotle peppers to control how much heat you want, or mix in a little adobo sauce for extra smokiness without too much heat.
  • Storage Tip – Refrigerate for up to a week in an airtight container; it may thicken as it sits, so stir before using.
  • Consistency Control — For a thinner sauce, give a splash of water (or more lime juice); for a thicker, diplike consistency, use less liquid.
