Garlic Butter Sauce (10 Minutes)

This garlic butter sauce recipe is super easy and can be made in 10 min. It’s great for spooning over pasta, seafood or veggies, giving any dish a burst of flavor with very little effort!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Sauté the Garlic – In a pan, over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and lightly golden (take care not to burn).
  • Season & Simmer — Sprinkle in a pinch of salt, then simmer the sauce for one more minute and let the flavors meld. If you want, add a splash of pasta water for a silkier yield.
  • Toss with Spaghetti – Off the heat, stir in cooked spaghetti and toss to fully coat with the sauce. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

NOTES

  • Use Unsalted Butter for Better Control — Unsalted butter gives you control over the salt level to your taste, so you don’t run the risk of your sauce being too salty.
  • Keep the heat low — Garlic needs to be cooked over low to medium heat to avoid burning, which turns it from sweet and aromatic to bitter.
  • Serve Immediately for Best Texture – Garlic butter sauce thickens on cooling, so it’s best enjoyed fresh. If necessary, reheat gently with a splash of water or broth to its silky state.
