This Homemade Boom Boom Sauce is a mayonnaise-based sweet and spicy sauce that is incredibly addicting. Although it works well as a dip for chicken tenders or crispy fries, my favorite application is as a coating for fried shrimp. It can be spread on your favorite foods or used as a dip or drizzle.
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and whisk to combine.
Mix with a whisk until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
To let the flavors combine, cover with plastic cling wrap and refrigerate for approximately half an hour.
Savor it as a spread for burgers and sandwiches or as a dipping sauce for anything fried!
NOTES
Keep any leftover sauce in the refrigerator in an airtight container that is tightly sealed. It will last for roughly two weeks.
I strongly advise against freezing this sauce. But don't worry! It only takes a few minutes to assemble, making it quite simple. Freezing and preparing in advance for long-term storage is not necessary.
