INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Use as a glaze or dip for fish, meatballs, poultry, and other foods.

NOTES

  • Use Frank's Red Hot as your hot sauce. Otherwise, use another Louisiana-style hot sauce with vinegar, such as Louisiana or Crystal. Taste and adjust the amount of hot sauce. Starting with less and adding more as necessary is simpler. Red pepper flakes, which add spice without overwatering the honey, can be added if you want it even spicier.
  • This sauce can be kept for up to 10 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
