    • Tastes Like Cheesecake: This dish is perfect for you if you're craving cheesecake but don't want to deal with the mess or trouble that goes along with it. This really simple dip has all the taste of a cheesecake!

    Ingredient Notes

    • Cream Cheese - This cream cheese dessert dip requires a cream cheese foundation. Duh! 8 ounces is ideal.
    • Butter - A small amount of unsalted butter is combined with the cream cheese to create the most luscious, rich, and creamy dip. Add ¼ cup.
    • Chocolate Chips: The main attraction here are mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. Add ⅓ cup, or as much as you like!
    • Light Brown Sugar - I enjoy using light brown sugar as the primary sweetener in this simple dessert recipe. It gives it a chocolate chip cookie dough dip texture!
    • Powdered Sugar - Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar. Why not add extra sugar?
    • Finally, 2 teaspoons vanilla essence adds a pleasant flavor to this wonderful delicacy.

    Additions & Substitutions

As is, this recipe for chocolate chip cheesecake dip is really amazing! Really, it doesn't require much else.

However, you may spice it up or alter the flavor a little by adding some other ingredients!

    • Chocolate Chips: You are welcome to use any kind of chocolate chips. You might use dark, white, or milk chocolate chips.
    • Nuts: This simple dessert dip would benefit greatly from the texture and flavor of crushed peanuts, almonds, or walnuts.
    • Drizzle: Pour some over it! Maybe peanut butter, chocolate sauce, or caramel sauce.
    • Candy: I think this creamy chocolate chip dip would be amazing with M&Ms. Or even a broken chocolate bar, such as a Kit Kat or Snickers. Delicious!
    • Flavor: To create a variety of flavors, you could use different extracts. Banana extract for a banana bread texture, peppermint extract for a mint chip dip, etc.
    • Cream Cheese: A simple approach to add some flair to this dip would be to use flavored cream cheese. Perhaps a cinnamon cream cheese with brown sugar or strawberry. That sounds really good!
    • Sprinkles: Adding sprinkles would be so much fun. particularly if this meal is being served at a celebration, such as a birthday party.

    Serving Suggestions

This tasty dessert dip can be served with a wide variety of foods!

    • Sticks of Graham Cracker
    • Slices of fresh fruit, such as bananas, strawberries, and apples
    • It would be fantastic to use pretzel rods! or A Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels
    • Cookies, Oreos, vanilla wafers, chocolate chip cookies
    • Animal crackers

    Expert Tips

    • Before serving, allow this dip to cool in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes. The dip may be a little liquid right out of the pot due to the melted butter, softened cream cheese, and all the mixing. You can achieve the ideal dip consistency by slightly solidifying it by placing it in the refrigerator.
    • Make use of cream cheese and softened butter! Otherwise, the beautifully creamy texture won't be mingled with the dip. This can be accomplished by either letting the ingredients rest at room temperature until they are completely soft or by briefly heating them in the microwave. Be careful not to melt them totally if you use the microwave!
    • Using micro chocolate chips is something I strongly suggest! Here, mini chocolate chips are the ideal size to utilize. You'll get a chip in every dip bite since they'll be uniformly dispersed throughout the dip!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use regular chocolate chips?

Of course, yes! Chocolate chips of standard size will function flawlessly.
Because they spread out more evenly throughout the dip, I prefer to use micro chocolate chips. They also don't overshadow the dip, in my opinion!

How to best store this recipe?

This simple chocolate chip dip keeps well in the refrigerator in an airtight container. The optimal shelf life is three to five days!

Can I make this recipe ahead of time?

Absolutely! It is quite effective to make this dish in advance.
Just store as directed above and take it out of the refrigerator five to ten minutes before serving.

How long can I leave this recipe out at room temperature?

Dips made with cream cheese usually keep for two hours at room temperature!

    INGREDIENTS

    • 8 oz cream cheese softened
    • ½  cup unsalted butter at room temperature
    • ¼ cup 50g brown sugar
    • ½ cup 60g powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • ¾ cup 130g chocolate chips
    • Fresh fruit, graham crackers, pretzels, cookies For Serving

    INSTRUCTIONS

    • Prep the Ingredients — Remove cream cheese and butter from the refrigerator and allow them to soften up at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Using it ensures a good mix and a smooth texture
    • Beat the cream cheese & butter — In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, on medium speed, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes. You can scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
    • Add the Sugars & Vanilla – To the bowl, add in the brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Start mixing at low speed to avoid splattering, then increase to medium speed and beat until the mixture is fluffy and well combined, about 2 minutes.
    • Fold in the Chocolate Chips – With the mixer on low, stir in the chocolate chips. Stir just until they’re lightly speckled throughout the dip. Fold them in gently by hand instead with a spatula so that you don’t break them.
    • Chill for the Best Flavor – Transfer dip to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes. Chilling helps to concentrate the flavors and to make the dip thicker and creamier.
    • Chill, Serve & Enjoy — After the dip has cooled, give it a stir, and turn it out into a serving dish. They can be served with fresh fruit, graham crackers, pretzels, or your favorite dippers. And savor each creamy, chocolaty bite!
