Ingredients Needed
There aren't many ingredients needed to prepare this easy and tasty dip. It's the ideal dessert to serve at the last minute at any fall gathering.

- Cream Cheese - This gives the dip its creamy, tangy flavor and serves as its foundation. Two eight-ounce packets of cream cheese are what you'll need. This adds creaminess and richness. Before combining, take sure to soften the cream cheese.
- Powdered sugar - This gives everything just the right amount of sweetness. For a deeper taste, you might use light brown sugar instead. The cream cheese gets a light, frothy texture and a mild sweetening as the superfine sugar melts into it.
- Vanilla Extract - It enhances all of the flavors in this dip and adds an aromatic touch. improves this creamy caramel dip's rich flavor. My personal addition to this recipe is vanilla.
- Caramel Sauce - Runny sauces don't work as well as thick ones. contributes a layer of savouriness and sweetness. Simply said, you don't want to use melted caramels for this dip since they will solidify.
- Crunchy Toppings - This gives every bite the ideal amount of crunch. Added protein, delicious tastes, and crunch to the dip.
- Apples - This recipe works nicely with any type of apple for dipping. Apples are best sliced fresh. Sturdy enough for a large scoop and just the right amount of acidity to balance the savory sweetness of the dip!
What to Serve with Caramel Apple Dip
You don't have to serve this with apples just because I call it an apple dip! It's also excellent served with:
- Graham crackers
- M&M's
- Crunchy bars, Hershey bars, Butterfingers, and other crushed candies
- Gingersnaps, pretzels, Biscoff cookies, and more.
- Apples: Soak sliced apples in Sprite, pineapple juice, or lemon water to prevent browning.

Tips & Tricks
- To prevent the apples from browning, cut them just before serving. Or add a bag and a small amount of lemon juice!
- You'll save a ton of work if you let the cream cheese cool to room temperature before combining!
- Warm up the caramel. In order to make spreading easier, I like to microwave thicker caramel for 15 seconds.
- Simply smash Heath or Skor candy bars in a food processor or cut them into little pieces with a knife if you are unable to locate toffee bits.
- Chill time: This dip tastes fantastic immediately but will get even thicker as it cools. If you have time, I suggest at least an hour.
Frequently Asked Questions
The best way to enjoy this dip is cold, just out of the fridge. Warming the dip causes a change in texture.
Full-fat cream cheese adds a richer, smoother texture to the dip, but you may still use it.
Although dips made with cream cheese can be frozen, it's vital to keep in mind that the texture may differ slightly from when they're made fresh. The texture of the toppings may be affected, and the cream cheese may start to separate or get a little gritty. As a result, this recipe is best enjoyed either freshly prepared or chilled.
If it cools, this might occur. To make it easier to distribute over the dip, simply microwave it for ten to fifteen seconds before pouring.
